Rust Booster

The HAO Rust Booster III is a simple yet versatile guitar booster designed to provide instant signal boost without altering the tonal coloration. It features Drive and Level knobs, offering a natural, crunchy overdrive reminiscent of classic guitar tones from the early 70s while remaining faithful to the original amp tone frequency spectrum. The RB-III improves upon the popular Rust Booster I circuit by increasing the range of distortion, allowing for a wider variety of tones. Additionally, the amount of output has been increased, making the RB-III perfect for use with low-output pickups.
