Pedal Manufacturer

Cicognani Engineering

Description

The Sexyboost2 by Cicognani Engineering is an analog tube boost pedal that integrates a clean signal boost and a midrange boost. It features a 12AU7 preamp tube and offers the following specifications:

- Clean Boost channel with a gain range of -30 dB to +10 dB
- Mid Boost channel with a gain range of -30 dB to +8 dB
- Global Treble/Bass Cut control for precise tone adjustment
- Red/Green LED indicators for channel selection
- True Bypass Switching
- Hand-made in Italy

The pedal is designed to provide a transparent signal boost for fat rhythms and increased volume for searing solos. The 12AU7 preamp tube ensures maximum headroom and transparency, making it suitable for pushing the front-end of a tube amp or as a level booster in a loop. The pedal's Tone control is a passive control that works at -6 dB with a frequency of 3.5 kHz, essential for adapting the pedal to different setups.

The Q of the frequency for the Mid Boost channel is 1000 Hz, with a range from 800 Hz to 1200 Hz. All Cicognani pedals use high-quality materials and are designed by Guglielmo Cicognani himself.
