Description

The AMT Electronics Vt-Drive is a JFET distortion pedal designed for electric guitars. It is part of the Drive Series effects, intended to be connected in front of a "clean" channel input of guitar combos or amplifiers. The pedal does not have a cabinet simulated output and is aimed at providing warm, crisp, natural tube sounds of high gain amplifiers while preserving the individuality and tone of the instrument and equipment.

Key features and technical specifications include:
- GAIN control for pedal sensitivity and drive/distortion amount adjustment
- LEVEL control for overall output level adjustment ranging from -10dB to +8dB
- TONE control for general tone matching of the pedal to the amplifier
- VOICE switch to cut some mids
- Standard 9vDC (-) negative center power required with low voltage consumption (less than 4mA)
- TRUE BYPASS circuitry for no tone coloration, signal degradation, or loss when the pedal is not in use

The Vt-Drive is constructed with steel material and weighs approximately 0.31 kg. It operates within a range of 9-12V operating voltage and requires a DC adapter for power supply, which is not included.
