The Electro-Harmonix XO Germanium OD is a classic 1960's overdrive pedal based on a hand-selected germanium transistor. The pedal features true bypass switching, an LED on/off indicator, and a compact and rugged die-cast chassis. The controls on the pedal include Gain, Bias, and Volts, allowing users to adjust the amount of input signal, current gain sent to the germanium transistor, and the amount of voltage applied to the pedal. The Germanium OD can be powered by a 9V battery or a 9VDC battery eliminator capable of delivering at least 100mA to the 9V power jack. The optional 9V power supply from Electro-Harmonix is 9.6DC-200BI. The pedal also features a 1/4" input and output, and a footswitch for true bypass on and off.
