The Diezel VH4-2 2-channel Distortion Pedal is a preamp pedal based on the legendary VH4 Channel 3. It features two foot-switchable channels, carefully voiced for rhythm and lead tones. The pedal can be used as either an overdrive effect or as a standalone preamp to feed into an amplifier's power section. The controls include Volume, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, and Depth. The pedal can be powered between 12-18VDC and comes with a 12V power supply and an 18V power supply cable for use with 9V isolated power supplies. The VH4-2 pedal is assembled in the USA.
The pedal's design faithfully reproduces the lush, dynamic overdrive character of the VH4's famous third channel, delivering an authentic representation of its namesake – real Diezel tone. It provides a wide range of tonal options, from classic Diezel sparkle and chime to saturated mid-gain sounds, to scorching Diezel leads. The pedal's two outputs allow for connections to the front of a guitar amplifier and to a line-level power amp or power section of an amp via the Effects Return.
The Diezel VH4-2 2-channel Distortion Pedal is designed to unleash the iconic high-gain tones of the VH4 amplifier with the tap of a toe, offering a versatile and powerful tool for guitarists seeking a wide range of high-gain tones.
