The Tone Hammer by Aguilar is a versatile preamp/DI pedal designed to provide studio-inspired EQ and pristine D.I. for both studio and stage use. The pedal features fully sweepable midrange frequencies, bass and treble controls, and proprietary Adaptive Gain Shaping circuitry (AGS) for additional gain structure, allowing players to achieve modern tones or vintage, tube-like saturation with the stomp of a button. The pedal is powered by two nine-volt batteries, phantom power, or an optional universal power supply. It also includes a ground lift switch and heavy-duty steel construction.
