Angry Charlie

The Angry Charlie by JHS is a high-gain overdrive/distortion pedal designed to replicate the tones of a JCM800 amplifier. The V3 version of the pedal features a 3-band tone stack, allowing for precise control over bass, mids, and treble frequencies. The pedal has five controls: Volume, Drive, Bass, Mids, and Treble. The Volume control acts as a standard master volume control, while the Drive control determines the amount of overall dirt/overdrive in the signal path.

The Angry Charlie V3 pedal requires standard 9V DC Negative power, consuming less than 100mA. It can also be run at 18V for more headroom and greater dynamics, but it is important not to use more than 18V DC. The pedal measures at 2.6" x 4.8" x 1.6" and features true bypass.
