SECRET PREAMP

The Chase Tone Secret Preamp is a vintage-accurate, 1970s solid-state Maestro Echoplex preamp with 'Bright' early EP3, 'Dark' later EP3, and 'MID' hybrid- capture EQ. It is designed to provide increased harmonic complexity and touch sensitivity, making it ideal at unity gain or slight boost. The pedal features automatic vintage EP3 22V+ power, with internal circuitry that automatically ramps 9VDC to 26VDC and then regulates and filters at 22VDC vintage EP3 power. The pedal requires 150mA 9VDC power and is recommended to be placed last in the signal chain. It also includes a volume control, a Chase Tone exclusive 3-way EQ 1970s era EP3 mini-toggle switch, and professional low-noise PCB design with a full PCB ground plane for enhanced noise reduction and rejection. The hardware includes a retro cherry red impact-resistant LED bezel with a wide viewing angle and high-quality 1970s style aluminum enclosure measuring 4” long x 2.4” wide x 1.5” high, designed to fit in the palm of your hand. The pedal also features rear mount jacks, making it compatible with virtually any pedal board.
