The Red Rooster by DAM is a versatile amplitude booster designed to push valve amplifiers into natural overdrive and create valve overload at low volume settings. It functions as a treble booster, bass booster, and a full- frequency solo booster. The pedal features a 'Range' control, allowing users to achieve treble, full-range, and bass boost, making it suitable for both single-coil and humbucking pickups with varying output and gain levels.

The Red Rooster utilizes a specially selected premium quality military-grade germanium transistor that is precisely biased to produce a bold, clear, and dynamic tone with generous sustain. It also features high-gain, low-noise circuitry using high-grade polystyrene film capacitors, long-life electrolytic capacitors, and 1% tolerance metal film resistors. The pedal is housed in a heavy-duty small footprint cast aluminum enclosure finished in Tri-mate Hammertone paint and utilizes negative ground circuitry featuring a 2.1mm DC socket.
