The Opto-Compressor by Carl Martin is a 100% analog old-school compressor designed to provide classic guitar sounds. It features four controls: Gain, which controls the 'pre-glow' of the optical circuit; Level, which controls the overall volume of the compressor; Compression, which controls the intensity of the compression; and Attack, which adjusts the signal from transparent to total squeeze. The pedal comes in a solid diecast housing with chicken-head knobs, CM color and graphics, and a 9V battery compartment. It is recommended to use a regulated power supply or batteries.
