The Analog Man CompROSSor is a hand-made pedal based on the Ross compressor, which is an improved Dynacomp. It is available in two box types. The pedal features a MIX control for parallel compression, allowing the blending of the normal compressed sound with the unprocessed dry guitar sound. The pedal also offers an ATTACK control, which adjusts the release time of the compressor, affecting the attack of the notes. Additionally, the pedal includes a RYCK toggle option, providing three different treble settings for a brighter tone. The pedal is designed to provide strong compression as an effect, with the ability to be used for subtle applications such as clean boost. The REV5 circuit includes improvements such as excellent output impedance for a clearer tone, more available output for boosting the amp, no phase reversal, and less compression available. The pedal is suitable for use with a power supply and is available with various customization options.
