The Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz is a 3-mode fuzz distortion effects pedal designed for electric guitars, recreating a variety of famous fuzz tones from the '60s and '70s. The pedal features the following controls:
1. LEVEL: Adjusts the output level.
2. TREBLE: Allows boosting/cutting of the high-frequency range.
3. BASS: Allows boosting/cutting of the low-frequency range.
4. GAIN: Adjusts the gain for more distorted sounds.
5. MODE switch: Selects between 3 effect modes:
- FUZZ 1: Basic fuzz sound with emphasis on the midrange.
- FUZZ 2: Full-bodied fuzz sound with scooped mids and sharp harmonics.
- BOOST: The Level control is inactive, and the Gain control adjusts the
boost.
Additional features include an ON/BATT LED that serves as a battery level indicator, a footswitch for activating/deactivating the effect, 1/4" TS IN and OUT connectors for instrument and amp connections, and a DC IN connection for a 9V power supply (not included). The pedal can also be powered by a 9V battery.
