Description

The Tone City Model M V2 is a distortion/amp-in-a-box effects pedal designed to deliver classic British Plexi-style tones. It features two selectable distortion channels, Crunch and High Gain, which can be used independently or combined. The Crunch mode covers '60s and '70s rock tones from light overdrive to saturated crunch, while the High Gain mode offers a powerful mid-range and a substantial amount of gain, suitable for classic rock to heavy metal.

The pedal is equipped with a switchable and adjustable boost section that can be used independently or together with the distortion circuit. Each distortion channel has a separate gain control, and the Tone control acts as a master EQ for both channels. The V2 version provides an even larger gain range, an improved signal-to-noise ratio, and an enhanced boost section that can be used independently or together with the distortion circuit.

Technical Specifications:
- Input Impedance: 1M ohm
- Output Impedance: 10K ohms
- Bypass: True bypass
- Power: 9V DC, center negative (power adapter not included)
- Power Draw: 25mA
- Dimensions: 100 x 120 x 52 mm (D x W x H)

It also includes status LEDs for each section and operates on a 9V DC adapter with a 2.1 x 5.5 mm barrel plug, with a current draw of 45mA.

The Tone City Model M V2 is designed to provide amp-like dynamics, good clean- up, and dynamic reaction to the guitar's volume control, making it a versatile option for guitarists seeking classic British distortion tones with modern functionality.
