The ThorpyFX Gunshot V2 Overdrive is a premium overdrive pedal designed to deliver exceptional audio experience, versatile tonality, and playability. It features a proprietary cascading "gain engine" that has been meticulously fine-tuned to provide rich, harmonically complex soundscapes. The controls on the Gunshot include Volume, Gain, Tone, and Calibre, allowing for seamless tone shaping and the achievement of a wide range of overdrive flavors, from subtle through to searing. The Calibre control adds girth and harmonically rich responses akin to tube amplifiers.

The pedal is built with robust construction, featuring recessed knobs and top- mounted jacks for practical use during performances. Its elegant stainless steel laser-etched center console and tough baseplate enhance its resilience and visual appeal.

Internally, the Gunshot is equipped with premium components, including 1% metafilm resistors and WIMA/Panasonic capacitors, ensuring superior sound quality and tonal excellence. The Gunshot V2 Overdrive is a more compact variant that retains its sonically identical qualities to the V1. It is powered by a 9V DC input and is not compatible with battery operation. The pedal's enclosure dimensions are 125mm (depth) x 66mm (width) x 55mm to 35mm (height), and it weighs 520g (1.15 lbs).
