The Evolution by Buffalo FX is a highly unique and massively tweaked amalgamation of two famous pedals. It is designed to provide light drive to full-on British-style tube amp distortion with articulate mids and the right amount of low end to stand out in a band mix. The pedal features a blend of silicon and germanium components, great dynamics, and touch responsiveness, making it sound and feel like being plugged straight into a cranked tube amplifier. It includes standard drive, tone, and volume controls, complemented by a contour control that allows setting the mid-range response from pronounced to a more flat response. The pedal is true bypass and features top- mount power and signal jacks, high-quality components, and low current draw.
