The Flat Light by Old Blood Noise Endeavors is a unique flanger pedal with versatile features. It offers three distinct modes: Detune (shimmering pitch shift), Resonate (highly resonant multi-flange), and Echo (reverb-like delay). The pedal includes four controls to shape the sound: Rate to set the rate, Depth to set the depth, Shift to affect an additional element in each mode, and Mix to adjust the effect blend from 100% dry to 100% wet.
Additionally, the Flat Light features an expression jack for external control of Rate or Shift parameters, a tilt footswitch to momentarily maximize Rate or Shift controls, and relay bypass switching. The pedal requires a 9V DC center negative 2.1mm jack power supply capable of 110mA (not included) and has a mA draw of 46.
The design of the Flat Light is complemented by artwork from Aaron Cahill. The pedal's dimensions are H: 5.6 cm (including knobs), W: 6.5 cm, D: 12.1 cm, and it weighs 309 g.
For more detailed information, the official owner's manual is available on the manufacturer's website.
