Charlie Foxtrot

The Charlie Foxtrot by Malekko is a digital buffer/granular pedal designed for manipulating input signals. It offers both auto-capture and manual-capture functionalities, which can be controlled through several parameters. The pedal features six knobs that control the size of the buffer, duration of repeats, pitch mode, threshold, mix, and preamp level. It includes the following specific features and controls:

- Buffer/Grain Size: Adjustable or random buffer/grain size from approximately 200ms to 600ms.
- Duration: Adjustable or random repeat duration from approximately 100ms to 10 seconds.
- Four different Pitch Modes & Random: "Stutter," "Up," "Down," "Both," and "Random. "
- Threshold: Set the threshold for auto-capture of input data.
- Mix: Set the mix from 100% dry to 100% wet.
- Preamp Level: Attenuate or amplify input signal.

The pedal also offers various controls and connections, including a 9V DC power jack, stomp switch, input jack, main LED, expression jack input, threshold control, mix control, pitch modes, duration control, buffer/grain size control, preamp, clip LED, and output.

Additionally, the Charlie Foxtrot supports expression pedal and CV control, allowing users to assign control of buffer/grain size, duration, pitch mode, and threshold to external devices. The pedal comes with specific instructions for assigning and removing expression pedal and CV control.

It is important to note that the pedal requires a standard 9VDC center- negative power supply and should not be used with incorrect voltage or AC power supplies to avoid damage and voiding the manufacturer's warranty. The product is covered by a one-year warranty from Malekko Heavy Industry.
