The Little Brute Drive (LBD) by EWS is a compact overdrive/distortion pedal designed to deliver intense distortion similar to its predecessor, the Brute Drive. The pedal's compact design allows it to fit seamlessly onto pedal boards, despite its small size. The LBD features a single knob for adjusting gain, and output level and treble control can be adjusted with trimmers located on the PC board inside the pedal. The pedal is true-bypass and operates on a 9VDC power supply, with a power consumption of 6.4mA. It weighs 300g and has dimensions of 38.5mm×92.5mm×55mm. The LBD complies with external power supplies ranging from 9V to 18V, but it is designed to work best with 9V. When using a 12V to 18V power supply, it may cause the gain to decrease at a certain point when adjusting the Gain knob and may alter the feel of the distortion, as well as increase the level of noise.
