The PG-14 by JHS is a signature distortion pedal designed to Paul Gilbert's specifications. It features a FET-based distortion engine that emulates the touch, feel, and response of a pushed tube amplifier, allowing players to achieve the dynamics and tone of a loud stadium-level amplifier at low/moderate volume levels.
One unique feature of the PG-14 is an active mid-frequency preamp located at the front of the FET distortion circuitry, providing users with a wide range of tonal possibilities with any amp or guitar combination. This design feature gives the pedal a vast sweep of tonal possibilities.
The pedal requires standard 9V DC negative power, consumes 36mA, and measures 2.2" x 4.8" x 1.6".
