Description

The Freeze by Electro-Harmonix is a sound retainer pedal designed to sustain individual notes and chords indefinitely. It offers three different modes of operation: Fast, Slow, and Latch. The pedal features an Effect Level control to adjust the volume of the sustained sound, and the output always contains the dry signal at its original volume. The Freeze pedal comes equipped with an Electro-Harmonix 9.6DC-200BI power supply, with a current requirement of 140mA at 9VDC and a plug that is center-negative. The pedal does not take batteries, and using the wrong adapter may damage the unit and void the warranty.

The dimensions of the Freeze pedal are 4.5" x 2.75" x 2.1" (unboxed) and 6.25" x 5.65" x 3.2" (boxed), with a shipping weight of 1.4 lbs. The input impedance presented at the INPUT jack is 2.2 MΩ, and the output impedance at the AMP jack is 470Ω. The pedal also features a status LED that indicates when the effect is sounding or fading out.

For warranty information, users are encouraged to register online or complete and return the enclosed warranty card within 10 days of purchase. The warranty covers repairs or replacements for a period of one year from the date of purchase for original purchasers who have bought their product from an authorized Electro-Harmonix retailer.
