The MXR EVH5150 Overdrive by Dunlop features multi-stage MOSFETs, a 3-band EQ, a Boost switch, and a noise gate, providing a versatile range of overdrive and distortion tones. The pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick™, Iso-Brick™, and Mini Iso-Brick™ power supplies (not included). It offers true bypass switching and comes in a road- worthy housing emblazoned with custom EVH artwork. The controls allow users to dial up a spectrum of tones, from classic to high gain, and the Smart Gate® circuit helps to tame unwanted noise. The pedal's output and gain controls set volume and distortion levels, while the 3-band passive tone stack EQ section shapes the sound to taste.
