The DLS Effects Chorus Waves is a versatile, warm, true stereo chorus pedal with a compact design. It features a Blend control that allows the analog instrument to stay analog while blending in chorus to taste. The Width control enables users to set the chorus sound from expansive wide chorus to compressed chorus. The Depth control adjusts the depth of the chorus, while the Rate control allows for speed adjustment from approximately 0.4Hz to 11Hz.
The pedal has two output options: OUTA, which provides a more organic sound, and OUTB, which offers a mildly brighter sound. Both outputs can be used for mono or stereo output. Additionally, the Chorus Waves includes internal pots for adjusting the volume output on OUTA and the input gain level of Input A.
The pedal is powered by a worry-free 9VDC input that can accept any polarity from a pedal board supply. It is constructed using a heavy steel enclosure, steel switches, and steel pots to withstand rigorous use in various environments.
The Chorus Waves pedal measures 5”L x 4”W x 2.5”H and is true bypass. It utilizes both analog and digital electronics and is equipped with a 9VDC input (2.1mm jack) with a wide input voltage range of 9vdc to 14vdc and an input current of 70mA at 9vdc.
The DLS Effects Chorus Waves has been used by notable artists such as Tommy Shaw (Styx), Alex Lifeson, and others, and is known for its lush warm chorusing capabilities.
