Daisho Fuzz

The Daisho Fuzz by Daredevil Pedals is a collaboration with legendary guitarist Earl Slick, designed for maximum dynamic fuzz and octave control. It features two great circuits in one pedal, Fuzz & Octave, with optional noise gate and independent use of either effect. The Fuzz side of the pedal offers volume and gain control, with a depth tone stack to boost or attenuate the low end. The Octave circuit is stacked before the fuzz, providing high-end harmonic tones and Hendrix-like sustain. The pedal also includes an optional noise gate control to cut out background hiss in between playing, particularly helpful at high gain settings with the Octave engaged.

The design keeps the controls simple, with true bypass and the ability to run on a 9V neg ground external DC source. The Kanji artwork is taken from Earl Slick's tattoo and developed by local artist Casey Von Sass. The Daisho Fuzz is known for its classic and articulate fuzz, with the ability to create broken ring mod tones in certain spots on the neck when using the octave on its own.

The pedal has been used as the main effect on Slick's board, including during the Experience Bowie tour. It is suitable for use with various types of guitars, from telecasters to humbuckers and P90's.
