Bee Buzz

The Black Cat Bee Buzz is a dual-channel fuzz/boost pedal based on the original Roland Bee Baa design. It features a transparent color brushed aluminum enclosure, elegant top-grade knobs and hardware, and a cool black glass epoxy PCB with yellow silkscreen. The pedal utilizes metal film resistors and audio-grade capacitors, along with 3PDT true-bypass switches and Switchcraft jacks. It can be powered using a 2.1mm Boss-style power jack or an internal 9V battery. The Bee Buzz also includes a bi-color LED to indicate Fuzz/Boost modes and is hand-wired with boutique quality in the USA.

The control set consists of four knobs, a small switch for switching between Buzz and the Bee setting, a bypass footswitch, and another that switches between the fuzz and boost sections. The three leftmost knobs are for the fuzz section, with Volume controlling the effect level, Tone adjusting the sting quotient, and Sustain enabling the user to pile on the fuzz. The Bee setting on the fuzz circuit delivers a gritty, garage punk thug sound, while the Buzz setting provides a burlier, fatter fuzz with a Big Muff/Fuzz Face hybrid tone for aggressive chording and leads.
