Rufus Reloaded

The Rufus Reloaded by Suhr is a unique pedal that offers a wide array of fuzz tones, including a dynamic and tactile octave-up effect. It is designed with exclusive features such as silicon transistors, octave-up capability, 3-band EQ, mf(x) Multi-Function Technology, FX Link, and true bypass switching.

The pedal features an easy-to-tweak control layout, including Fuzz, Level, Bass, and Mid rotary controls, along with a three-position Treble switch. The Fuzz control adjusts the amount of fuzz/gain applied to the signal, offering various effects at different settings. The Level control adjusts the overall output level, while the Bass and Mid controls adjust the amount of bass and midrange, respectively. The Treble switch offers three position settings to cut, flatten, or boost high frequencies for different tonal characteristics.

Rufus Reloaded can be powered via a 9V battery or a 9VDC center negative power supply. It also features a battery monitor that alerts the user when the battery voltage is low. The pedal employs true bypass switching via relay, removing the effect from the signal chain when not in use.

The pedal incorporates Multi-Function Technology (mf(x)), allowing seamless selection between two distinct user modes, Green (Normal) or Red (Octave-Up), by holding down the footswitch. It also features FX Link technology for external control of bypass and operating modes in real-time via an external footswitch or control function switching device.
