Description

The Sixty8 by LPD Pedals is a versatile overdrive pedal designed to replicate the sound and feel of a classic 1968 Plexi amplifier. It offers natural note decay, dynamic response to guitar volume control and pick dynamics, and a wide range of clean to heavily overdriven tones. The pedal is highly versatile with super-low noise and killer sustain, without needing a ton of distortion or fuzz to achieve its sound.

Key Technical Specifications:
- Dimensions: 4.5” x 2.375” x 2”
- Weight: 13oz (370g)
- 9-18 volt 35mA operation
- Low current draw: 12mA
- Power outage/brownout defaults to bypass
- Top-mounted Switchcraft input, output, and DC jacks
- Soft-touch click-free switching
- Performance switchable independent 24dB adjustable pre-gain Boost
- Two performance switchable Gain modes: Red (high) and Green (low)
- Independent control of each of the 3 switching operations: Active/Bypass, Gain Mode, and Boost

The Sixty8 Deluxe version of the pedal features foot switchable low gain (Green) and high gain (Red) channels, providing access to classic Plexi tones on the fly. It also includes a 24dB full-range boost that functions independently, allowing for use with the Sixty8 or on its own. The boost is clean up to about 1 o’clock, after which it starts adding its own overdrive/fuzz, offering a total of 5 different tones: Clean (bypass), Green, Green + Boost, Red, and Red + Boost.

The pedal is designed for performance, with 9-18 VDC operation, soft-touch switching, rugged construction, and elegant styling. It is handcrafted in Mesa, Arizona, USA, and is suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from rhythm to lead hybrid styles.
