The BOSS PH-1R Phaser is a four-stage analog phaser pedal that was manufactured by the Japanese Roland Corporation from October 1980 to May 1985. It is an updated version of the original PH-1, featuring an additional "Resonance" control to increase tonal variations and provide a wider range of available sounds. The pedal is designed to create a wide array of different tones and offers a lush phase effect.
