The Behringer SO400 Super Octaver is an ultimate octaver effects pedal with polyphonic input capability, allowing for the creation of octaves one and two octaves below the original tone. It features the following controls:
1. MODE switch: Selects operation modes - POLY (single octave sound), OCT 2
(heavy octave sound), and DRIVE (overdrive effect).
2. DIRECT control: Adjusts the level of the original input signal and the DIR
OUT connector. In DRIVE mode, it adjusts the total volume.
3. OCT 1 control: Adjusts the level of the generated signal one octave below
the original signal.
4. Function knob: Its function depends on the position of the MODE switch,
controlling the frequency range, volume of the second octave, or depth of the
overdrive effect.
5. Blue ON/BATT LED: Illuminates when the effect is activated and serves as a
battery level indicator.
6. Footswitch: Activates/deactivates the effect.
The pedal also includes various input and output connectors optimized for guitars and bass guitars, as well as a 9V power supply or battery option. The SO400 is designed to preserve the original tone while adding low tones through Real Sound Modeling (RSM) technology, and it comes with a 3-year warranty.
For detailed technical specifications, the pedal's impedance, power supply requirements, physical dimensions, and warranty information can be found in the product documentation.
