The BOSS CS-3 Compression Sustainer is a compact compression/sustainer pedal with high-quality circuitry. It is designed to compress loud signals and boost softer signals for a smooth overall sound. The pedal features onboard Level, Tone, Attack, and Sustain controls for precise tonal shaping. Additionally, it is equipped with a low-noise design for super-quiet operation. The pedal has a nominal input level of -20 dBu, input impedance of 1 M ohm, nominal output level of -20 dBu, and output impedance of 1 k ohm. The recommended load impedance is 10 k ohms or greater. The pedal can be powered by a 9V DC power supply or a 9V battery. It comes with a BOSS five-year warranty.
