The Tree of Life by Vick Audio is an overdrive pedal designed to capture the best features of two popular overdrive pedals, the OCD version 3 and the Zen. At lower gain settings, it produces dynamic, touch-sensitive, Zen-like tones suitable for various music styles. When set to higher gain, it delivers an OCD-style, responsive, thick overdriven sound. The pedal features a 3PDT True Bypass switch, high-quality US-made PCB construction, Neutrik Audio Jacks, and a powder-coated enclosure. The clipping section of the circuit utilizes mosfet semiconductors and Bat41 diodes, providing harmonically rich overtones regardless of the gain setting. The pedal is hand-wired, boutique quality, and made in the USA. It uses a 2.1 mm Boss style power jack (power supply not included) and does not have an internal 9V battery clip.
