The Cherry Bomb by Stomp Under Foot is a limited edition pedal designed with NOS Germanium Transistors, featuring true-bypass functionality and compatible with 9V battery or 2.1 9V adapter only. It operates at 1mA and is handmade in the U.S.A. The pedal was inspired by the Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster, with the addition of a tone control that allows users to adjust the boost from treble to bass, tailoring it to the amp being used. The use of a NOS NPN germanium transistor enables the pedal to be used in a daisy-chain with other pedals.
When used through a clean amp, the Cherry Bomb provides a low-gain break-up, while running it through a dirty amp enhances its performance by pushing the amp's gain and adding more gain. This feature is particularly useful for using the amp's gain for dirty rhythm and then using the Cherry Bomb for screaming leads.
Stomp Under Foot pedals are meticulously handcrafted using only quality, through-hole components. The Cherry Bomb is priced at $199.00.
