The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Black Fountain V3 is a delay pedal that captures the warm, modulated sound of vintage oil can delays while offering modern features. The pedal features the following controls:
1. Time: Sets the delay time
2. Feedback: Sets the number of repeats
3. Fluid: Sets the modulation amount
4. Mix: Sets the effect blend from 100% dry to 100% wet
5. Toggle: Selects between Modern, Organ, and Vintage modes
6. Tap Tempo footswitch: Sets the tempo, or can be held down to momentarily
max out feedback
7. Expression jack: Allows external control of Time, Feedback, or both
The pedal also features a soft-touch bypass footswitch for true bypass and minimal switch noise. It requires a 9V DC center negative 2.1mm jack power supply capable of 110mA (not included).
The Black Fountain V3 offers three different delay modes – Modern, Organ, and Vintage – each providing a unique voice to the delay. The pedal is designed to emulate short-delay oil-can units like the Tel-Ray Deluxe Organ Tone and Fender Dimension IV, with a fixed delay time and the ability to produce chorus-like delay modulation.
