The ST-9 Pro+ Supertube by Maxon is a versatile overdrive pedal designed to deliver powerful and responsive distortion tones. It is an updated reissue of the 1980s Super Tube Screamer, based on the classic OD-9/OD808 circuit. The pedal features a dedicated Midrange knob to control the amount of mid boost, providing heavy, thick, and powerful distortion sounds similar to a full-stack amplifier.

- Loosely based on Maxon's classic “808” circuit
- Dedicated Midrange knob for controlling the amount of midrange boost
- Low Boost switch for adding low-end punch, suitable for single coils
- Switchable 9V or 18V operation for increased dynamic headroom and fuller frequency response
- True Bypass Switching for preserving the integrity of the guitar signal
- Mechanical True Bypass switching via a Fujisoku 4PDT switch
- Internal charge pump for voltage conversion from 9V to 18V
- Input Impedance: 500K Ohms
- Output Impedance: 10K Ohms or less
- Maximum Gain: 51dB (2.2 kHz)
- Equivalent Input Noise: -115dB or less (IHF-A)
