The Maxon FA10 Fuzz Elements, Air is a guitar effect pedal designed to faithfully reproduce the octave harmonics and unique square wave clipping of the vintage Univox Super Fuzz. The pedal features analog circuitry that captures the crushing, compressed tone of the Super Fuzz with surgical accuracy. It offers two distinct fuzz tones, which can be selected using the Fat/Scoop switch, providing a drastic change in EQ. The pedal is housed in a rugged enclosure and features true bypass switching for seamless integration into pedalboard setups. The Maxon FA10 Fuzz Elements, Air is designed to operate with a 9V battery or a standard AC adaptor for 9V (not included). The specifications of the pedal include an input impedance of 100k ohms, an output impedance of 100k ohms, and a maximum gain of 56dB (800Hz) FAT. The pedal is made in Japan and is a part of the Maxon Fuzz Elements series, which aims to reproduce the classic and unique sounds of the world's most desirable vintage Fuzz pedals using advanced analog circuitry.
