The Keeley Monterey Rotary Fuzz Vibe is a multi-effects pedal designed to provide guitarists with essential tools to achieve legendary tones, particularly those of Jimi Hendrix. The pedal features a modulation section containing a rotary speaker sound, a vibe, and an autowah, as well as a warm and full-sounding fuzz circuit that is touch-sensitive. Additionally, it offers a variable octave up and down that can be used in conjunction with any of the pedal's tones.

The pedal is divided into two channels: Modulation and Fuzz. The fuzz channel is designed to deliver a rich, full, classic two-transistor fuzz sound that is responsive and dynamic. The modulation channel offers an Octave effect with both the Vibe and Wah sounds, providing options for Octave Up, Octave Down, or No Octave. The Monterey Rotary Fuzz Vibe also features a rich and deep vibe sound, a "Kool Vibe" setting for complex phaser-like sounds, and a "Les Rotary" sound that simulates the unique pulsing of a photo-cell-based effect.

The "Harmonic Wah" section of the pedal combines fixed or cocked wah sound, auto wah, harmonic/tremolo wah, and regular foot-controlled wah when an expression pedal is added. The pedal also includes an Order Switch that allows users to change the order of the Fuzz and Modulation effects, offering flexibility in creating unique tones.

Additionally, an expression pedal can be connected to control the Rate of the "Les Rotary" and "Kool Vibe" settings, as well as the frequencies in the "Harmonic Wah" setting.
