ToneWorks AX1500G

The ToneWorks AX1500G by Korg is a versatile guitar multi-effects processor housed in a sturdy metal case measuring approximately 43 x 18 x 6cm. It features 56 types of modeling effect variations, with a maximum of eight types of effects that can be used simultaneously. The unit offers 48 preset programs and 48 rewritable user programs organized into banks of three. Each program is built from five effects blocks: Drive-amp, Cabinet, Modulation, Pedal, and Ambience.

The rear panel of the AX1500G includes a quarter-inch jack guitar input, left (mono) and right pair of quarter-inch jack outputs, a stereo mini-jack as an auxiliary input, and another for the stereo headphone socket. The unit operates in three modes: Play, Individual, and Phrase Trainer, providing flexibility for live performances and practice sessions.

The AX1500G allows users to record and loop musical phrases, control pedal effects in real-time, and includes a built-in metronome for convenient practice. The LCD display provides an intuitive visual interface, and the unit also features an auto chromatic tuner for tuning instruments when the AX1500G is bypassed or muted.

The effect channels A and B within each program can be switched, allowing users to differentiate between rhythm and lead sounds or sounds intended for direct output to a mixer or a guitar amp. Additionally, the unit offers bypass and mute functions for added flexibility during performances.
