PaGE DS

The PaGE DS by Kingsley is a preamp overdrive channel designed to be placed directly after a clean preamp, such as the Kingsley Squire. Inspired by the Dumble ODS style preamp, the PaGE DS delivers exceptional overdriven lead tones when run into a tube power amplifier. The pedal features a clean single 12ax7 tube preamp cascaded into an overdrive stage, also based on one 12ax7 tube.

The PaGE DS has controls for gain, volume, and tone, as well as a 3-way mode switch. The mode switch provides smooth, normal, and fat modes, offering a variety of tonal options. Additionally, the pedal includes a tone control for the overdrive channel, which is not commonly found on most ODS overdrive channels. The 9VDC power supply is converted to both 6.3VDC for the tube heaters and 250VDC for the tube plates.

The pedal measures 3 7/8” wide x 4 ¾” deep x 2.56" tall and has power requirements of 9VDC @ 500mA, center negative, 2.1mm jack. It weighs 1.27 lbs (575g).

The PaGE DS is suitable for use as a clean or slightly driven boost and excels at pushing an amp or pedal into overdrive. It can also produce excellent overdrive and distortion itself when pushed with another boost pedal.
