Description

The AT+ by JHS Pedals is an Andy Timmons signature overdrive pedal that offers a range of features and technical specifications. The pedal's design includes a drive channel identical to the original AT pedal, with controls for Volume, EQ, Drive, Air, and a three-way toggle for 25-watt, 50-watt, or 100-watt modes. The Volume provides ample headroom, while the Drive control offers a wide range from high gain blues to thunderous distortion. The EQ functions as a standard bright/dark tone control, and the Air control rolls in top end like a presence control for articulation and clarity. The three-way toggle provides the feel of different amplifier wattages, offering various levels of compression, saturation, and volume.

Additionally, the AT+ features an independent foot-switchable Boost, essentially creating a second channel and gain stage for the pedal. The boost side of the AT+ is a slightly dirty and overdriven pre-boost that allows users to achieve more saturation and definition for applications where more drive is needed. The Boost is independent and can be used alone to drive an amp or other drive pedals in conjunction with the AT+ drive channel.

Technical specifications for the AT+ include the requirement for standard 9V DC center negative power, consuming 15mA, and measuring 2.2" x 4.8" x 1.6". It can be safely run at 18 or 9 volts.

The AT+ pedal offers guitarists the ability to craft their tone with a versatile range of features, making it suitable for various musical styles and performance settings.
