The Dream Sequence by Hologram Electronics is a programmable rhythm and octave pedal designed to create synth-like arpeggios, pulsating sheets of sub-octave distortion, shimmering ethereal chord washes, and a variety of other new sounds. The pedal's technical specifications and features include:

The pedal's patterns are composed of octave up and octave down pitch shifts in rhythmic sequence, and the Tap Tempo system allows for effortless synchronization with other musicians. The "Hold" function enables users to sample a chord or note and sustain it indefinitely, feeding the sample into the pattern sequencer to create harmonies, drones, and other tonal possibilities.

The Dream Sequence also features a built-in digitally controlled analog overdrive and tone circuit, three preset banks (User, Factory, and Saved), and the ability to record knob movements and patterns on the fly. Additionally, it offers infinitely customizable sounds, waveform shape controls, and the capability to clock other pedals via Tap Tempo with its MIDI Output.

The pedal's dimensions are 7.4 x 4.7 inches, and it includes a printed user's manual and a center-negative 9V DC power supply.
