Description

The BOSS MD-500 Modulation pedal features 32-bit/96 kHz AD/DA conversion, exceeding industry standards for pedal-based effects. Its internal processing is 32-bit floating point and runs at a 96 kHz sampling rate, ensuring pristine sound quality. The pedal includes 12 modes with 28 different modulation effect algorithms, covering chorus, vibrato, flanger, phaser, tremolo, rotary, classic vibe, ring mod, auto wah, touch wah, slicer, and overtone effects. Additionally, the MD-500 offers newly developed Prime algorithms for standard effects like chorus, flanger, and phaser, providing enhanced expression and transparency. The pedal is equipped with a large LCD for easy viewing and adjustment of deep editing parameters and advanced control features. It also supports A/B Simul mode for running two patches at once, an insert loop function for placing mod effects before, after, or around drive pedals, and intensive real-time control options. The MD-500 can be powered by four AA-size batteries or a PSA-series AC adapter. It also offers MIDI I/O for interfacing with MIDI control devices and USB-MIDI for connecting to the MD-500 Editor/Librarian or a DAW.
