Croak

The Croak by Fuzzrocious is an expressive double filter fuzz pedal designed to provide a wide range of sonic possibilities. The pedal features the following technical specifications:

- PRE (P) control: This knob adjusts the amount of fuzz pushing into the filters. Increasing the volume pushes the filters to open up faster.

- FILTER 1: This control sweeps the first filter from a gulpy, swallowed up sound to a fly buzzing in your brain grind. It can be turned off via a toggle, allowing the fuzz to hit FILTER 2 unobstructed.

- FILTER 2 (F2): This control sweeps an envelope filter. As the F2 pot is turned clockwise, the "vocal/vowel quality" of the filter changes. With more volume from PRE, the envelope opens faster.

- VOLUME (V) control: This knob adjusts the output level of the pedal.

- Expression pedal jack: The Croak pedal allows for an expression pedal to overtake the PRE (P) control, enabling the user to control how much fuzz hits the filters. This feature almost turns the pedal into a wah that changes the vocal quality and funk/feel of the overall sound.

- Left momentary footswitch: When fully depressed and held down, the frequency range of the envelope filter (F2) immediately changes, similar to a wah going from toe-down to heel-up via a footswitch.
