The Dresden Synth Fuzz by Fredric Effects is a unique pedal that combines two synthy-sounding octave fuzzes run in parallel - an upper and lower octave fuzz, covering the entire frequency range. It produces a dirty and snarly sound on the low notes, resembling a malfunctioning analog synth, and delivers precise tones on the higher notes. The pedal features a big synth knob for volume control and a small switch on the left to select either the upper or lower octave fuzzes, or both combined.
The latest version, Dresden Synth Fuzz MKII, includes the following new
features:
- Blend: sets the blend with the input signal
- Input gain: increases the gain of the input signal to enhance sustain and
reduce the 'glitch' factor of the octave circuit, particularly the lower
octave.
The pedal is designed to provide a rewarding noisy experience and is priced at £175.
