The Utility Perkolator by Fredric Effects is the latest version of the fabled Interfax Harmonic Percolator from the 1970s. It features higher gain, lower leakage Russian Germanium transistors and a low pass filter that removes high- end hisses and glitches associated with the HP, resulting in a considerably lower noise floor. This creates a tighter and more controllable effect while still capable of producing the classic Harmonic Percolator sound. The pedal also includes a switchable ring modulation circuit for splattery octave effects and DIP switches on the circuit board to remove the low pass filter if required. The Utility Perkolator is designed to offer the best sounding Harmonic Percolator available.
