It features simple volume and gain controls, and is housed in a tough cast aluminum case with a baby blue enamel finish. The pedal also includes true bypass switching, an amber indicator LED, steel LED bezel, Switchcraft jacks, white knobs, hard-mounted PCB, external power jack, and clear feet. Each Hep Cat overdrive is hand-made in the USA by Frantone.
