FC-12

The FC-12 by Fractal Audio is a foot controller designed to provide comprehensive control over performances with the Axe-Fx III, FM9, and FM3 processors. It features a powder-coated 16-gauge steel chassis with durable protective endcaps doubling as feet, ensuring durability for tough tours and bright stages. The unit is equipped with SSS™ footswitches that are extremely durable and quiet, with no mechanical contacts to fail. The FC-12 has a 2×20 Transflective Main Display showing presets, scenes, and more, and every footswitch has its own customizable LCD Mini-Display, which is significantly larger and more legible on the FC Mark II models. The LED rings and displays are designed to be easy to read even under adverse lighting conditions, making the pedalboard extremely informative and user-friendly.

The FC-12 has dimensions of 20.2″ x 9.2″ x 3.5″ (512mm x 233mm x 88mm) and weighs 11 lbs (5 kg). It also features a FASLINK™ II port for connecting to an Axe-Fx III, FM9, or FM3, as well as a FASLINK™ II “thru” port for connecting to other daisy-chained FC units. Additionally, it has the capability to add up to four external pedals and four switches per FC unit. The FC-12 can trigger the Axe-Fx III, FM9, or FM3 to generate and transmit messages from its own MIDI out port to connected devices. The unit is designed to be easy to use while granting extreme flexibility, and it can be updated with new features through host firmware for years to come.
