The Foxgear Maitresse is a fully analog flanger pedal based on an analog NOS chip, the MN3207, similar to the old Electric Mistress. It draws inspiration from the 60s, when the "flanger" effect was created by musical pioneers such as Les Paul and Jimi Hendrix using reel-to-reel systems to vary the tape speed and achieve a unique sound between chorus and flanger. The pedal aims to recreate that legendary sound at an affordable price point.
Specifications:
- Power In: 9 to 12VDC (negative TIP)
- Consumption at 9V: <100mA
- Input Impedance: <=1M Ohm
- Output Impedance: <=10K Ohm
- Length: 120mm (4.7”)
- Height: 30mm (1.1”)
- Weight: 0.2Kg (0.4lbs)
The Maitresse is designed to be quieter and respectful of the clean sound, featuring a bypass system that avoids volume loss, high-frequency loss, and "no-pop" when activated.
