The Grand Orbiter by EarthQuaker Devices is a 4 stage OTA-based phaser pedal with a diverse feature set. It offers a wide range of modulation, from stationary and resonant to slow and mellow, and on through fast and swirly. The pedal features a three-way toggle switch to select between modulation ranges, a master Rate control to fine-tune the speed of the LFO, and a flashing red LED as a visual indicator, even in bypass mode.
Key Controls:
1. Sweep: Controls the frequency peak of the sweep.
2. Rate 1 | 2 | 3: Changes the range of the speed control.
3. Rate: Controls the speed of the LFO.
4. Depth: Controls the amount of phase effect mixed with the dry signal. In
"Vibrato" mode, it acts as a volume control.
5. Phase/Vibrato: Cuts the dry signal to create a vibe/vibrato effect.
6. Resonance: Controls the regeneration of the phased signal.
The Grand Orbiter can also be used as a true pitch vibrato with the "Phase/Vibrato" switch. It is 100% analog, true bypass, and built entirely by hand in Akron, Ohio.
