The DigiTech Drop is a polyphonic pitch-shifter pedal designed to enable drop re-tuning of a guitar by transposing the guitar signal down as much as one octave in 1/2 step (1 semitone) intervals. The pedal offers 9 drop effect settings, a momentary on/off switch, true bypass, compact design, and solid construction. It comes with a power adapter and features a compact size of 4.75” (L) x 2.875” (W) x 1.75” (H) and weighs 0.36 lbs.
The user interface includes a power connector, effect selector knob, drop effect amount LEDs, momentary on/off switch, output jack, input jack, and effect LED. The pedal operates at a sample rate of 44.1 kHz, with a frequency response of 20 Hz-11 kHz (effect enabled), and a signal-to-noise ratio of > -105 dB (A weighted). The input type is 1/4” unbalanced TS, with a max input level of +5 dBu and an input impedance of 1 MΩ (effect enabled).
The output type is 1/4” unbalanced TS, with a max output level of +10 dBu and an output impedance of 1 kΩ (effect enabled). The power consumption is 2.3 Watts (< 250 mA @ 9 VDC), and it requires a 9 VDC external adapter.
