Herbert Distortion Pedal

The Diezel Herbert Distortion Pedal is an all-analog pedal based on the legendary Herbert amp. It replicates the amp's preamp with precision, offering high-gain tones, punishingly tight low end, and finely tuned midrange. The pedal features a foot-switchable Midcut circuit, along with controls for Normal Master, Midcut Master, Midcut Intensity, Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, and Deep. It can be powered between 12-18VDC and comes with a 12V power supply and an 18V power supply cable for use with 9V isolated power supplies. The pedal has a power draw of 100mA.

The Herbert Pedal can be used as a preamp or distortion pedal, offering multiple ways to achieve its ground-shaking tones. It includes a separate output for running directly into a power amplifier, allowing it to be used as the rig's front end. The pedal also features a Bypass switch that mutes the signal when used as a preamp.
