Formula No. 55

The Catalinbread Formula No. 55 is a Foundation Overdrive pedal that faithfully reproduces the preamp section of the classic Fender™ tweed 5E3 Deluxe using an all-discrete JFET-based signal path. The Volume and Tone controls replicate the circuitry of the 5E3, providing authentic tweed amp response. The output section is designed to deliver punch and volume with a low output impedance to drive the amp perfectly. The pedal features a Hi-Lo button, allowing users to switch between cleaner vintage tweed response and a "hot rodded" amp sound with higher gain tubes.
